Nexus Care Services has donated a collection of toys to the Children’s Ward at Good Hope Hospital after staff came together for a Christmas Toy Drive.

Over recent weeks, carers and office staff donated new toys to support children spending time in hospital during the festive period.

The donations were handed over to Elle, the Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital.

Tinga Umera, Managing Director of Nexus Care Services, said, “I was honoured to deliver the toys to Elle at Good Hope Hospital personally. Our team showed such kindness in coming together for this.

“It was touching to see how much these gifts will mean to children and their families at Christmas, and I was proud to pass them on on behalf of everyone who took part. We hope it helps bring some festive joy to children and their families on the ward at this time of year.”

The initiative reflects Nexus Care Services’ ongoing commitment to compassion, kindness and supporting the community.

The Christmas Toy Drive was supported by carers and office staff across the organisation, many of whom wanted to do something meaningful to help local families at a difficult time of year.

Nexus Care Services has thanked everyone who donated and helped organise the collection. The team looks forward to supporting similar causes in the future.
