His personal needs were at all times supported by his excellent carers. The 'backroom' office staff were always there at the end of the telephone offering kindness and empathy. Even last minute alterations to rotas due to unexpected hospital appointments were accommodated without any complaint, and one was never made to feel a nuisance with these requests. Their support also meant so much to me personally.
