Nexus Care Services has raised £678 for the Good Hope Hospital Charity following its successful completion of the Royal Sutton Fun Run in Sutton Coldfield.
After completing the eight-and-a-half-mile route across the town centre and Sutton Park, the team has worked hard to raise money in support of the tremendous work Good Hope Hospital does for the community.
The team enjoyed an opportunity to keep fit while supporting such a good cause, which is its chosen charity of the year.
They know that the hospital can only continue to help people locally if it receives support from those who most value it.
“We could not think of a better cause,” Samuel Court, Sales Director at Nexus Care Services, said.
“Good Hope is such a vital part of this community, and they always conduct themselves in the most professional way possible.
“We cannot imagine not having them so close by for our clients, so every bit of funding they can get is going to make a difference.”
Nexus has been showing the journey to the fun run over the past few months across its social media.
This has inspired a real sense of community and has resonated with many, leading to the success of the fundraiser.
“We are passionate about giving back to the community we serve,” Samuel added. “We want to make a real difference with the money raised.”
The fun run may have ended, but Nexus is still working to raise money. Their JustGiving page is still live, and anyone who has been inspired by the hard work of the Nexus team is encouraged to donate whatever they can.
As a local home care provider in Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth, Nexus has a strong desire to support the local community and has a history of raising money for a wide range of local good causes.
