Moving away from the industry-standard zero-hour contracts, Nexus’ new contracted hours offer carers unprecedented legal protection and financial security and a suite of competitive benefits – setting a new standard for employment in care.
Recognising the challenges carers face, Nexus has developed a full-time contract that provides a guaranteed 40-hour work week over 5 days, with rota’s completed 14 days in advance ensuring security and stability for their team.
The new contract also provides a compensation package among the best in the market to reflect the skills and knowledge of our team. This includes a market-leading salary of £26,000 per year and a unique car allowance of £2,000 per annum.
By announcing schedules two weeks in advance, Nexus ensures that carers can enjoy greater stability and plan their personal lives more effectively around work.
