Being a home carer means supporting people who rely on you to stay safe, well and independent in their own homes. This includes:
Washing, dressing, toileting and helping clients maintain dignity
Prompting or assisting with prescribed medication
Helping clients move safely, including use of equipment
Tidying, changing bedding and daily routine tasks
Offering companionship and reassurance
Writing clear notes after each visit

Ideally, you will have a Level 2 Health & Social Care certificate, but this is not a prerequisite. If you have a passion for care, you will still be considered. We do take on carers with no care experience.

Yes, ideally our carers need to live within a 25-mile radius of our offices in Tamworth, Lichfield or Sutton Coldfield due to the location of the work and to factor in travel time and commuting to and from work too due to the community work we have.
Yes, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a variety of working patterns, including full-time, part-time, evening, and weekend shifts. Our aim is to accommodate the personal commitments of our staff while meeting the needs of our clients.
All carers undergo our probation period and are given shadowing to help introduce to our clients. We do take on carers with no care experience
As a minimum carers can expect £12.85 on weekdays, £13.25 on weekends, and £13.50 when working in teams of two. Carers working full time can earn around £30,000 if all benefits are taken into consideration. Premium pay rates and weekly pay are also available.
We are not registered as a Visa sponsor and so we aren’t able to offer this to potential candidates from overseas.
