We are proud to share that our Managing Director, Tinga Umera, is preparing for his next charity challenge in support of Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield.

Giving back has always been close to our hearts at Nexus and Tinga is no stranger to taking on personal challenges to raise vital funds.

In recent years, he has completed the Wolverhampton 10K, raising more than £3,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young, hiked in the Peak District in aid of Cancer Research UK and climbed the Wrekin in Telford to support Race Against Dementia.

His latest venture will see him take to the skies, with a skydive planned for Saturday, 16 May 2026.

All funds raised will go directly towards supporting the work of Good Hope Hospital, helping to provide additional care and resources for patients and families that fall outside standard NHS funding.

As a care provider rooted in the local community, we have supported Good Hope Hospital for a number of years. Most recently, our team came together for a Christmas toy drive to support children receiving care in hospital.

Tinga said: “I have always enjoyed challenging myself while raising money for causes close to my heart. Skydiving is a first for me, but if it helps support Good Hope Hospital and the incredible work they do, it is worth the jump.

“I hope people will get behind it and help make a real difference to those who rely on this additional funding.”

Anyone who would like to support Tinga and contribute to this important cause can donate via the JustGiving page.
