Nexus Care Services achieves double shortlisting at the Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards

Nexus Care Services is celebrating the success of two of its team members, Tinga Umera and Noreen Aziz, who have been shortlisted for the prestigious Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards.

These awards, organised by Staffordshire County Council, recognise the commitment, competence, and best practice among individuals, teams, and organisations dedicated to the care sector.

Managing Director, Tinga Umera, shortlisted for Registered Manager Dignity Champion, has revolutionised home care through his visionary leadership and deep commitment to the well-being of service users.

With a diverse background that spans banking, finance, and care, Tinga has positioned Nexus Care Services at the forefront of the industry.

His strategic insights have not only achieved a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission but also propelled the organisation through a successful Staffordshire County Council Quality Assurance audit.

Under his guidance, Nexus Care Services has developed into a beacon of dignity and excellence, enhancing the lives of both service users and staff.

Meanwhile, Noreen Aziz, nominated as Community Service Dignity Champion, exemplifies dedication and excellence in her rapid rise from entry-level carer to senior carer at Nexus Care Services.

Known for her skill, compassion, and deep understanding of care practices, Noreen has become a favourite among clients and colleagues.

Her ability to detect subtle changes in client conditions ensures top-tier preventative care, making her an invaluable asset to the community and a deserving candidate for this honour.

These nominations underscore Nexus Care Services’ dedication to a care system rooted in respect and dignity.

“We are immensely proud of Tinga and Noreen, whose nominations reflect not only their exceptional capabilities but also our collective mission to ensure every individual receives the highest standard of dignified care,” says Samuel Court, a Director at Nexus Care Services.

“This recognition at the Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards serves as a testament to the effective, compassionate, and dignified care standards set by Nexus Care Services.

“It is an inspiring call to action for all involved in care services to continue striving for excellence and dignity in every aspect of their work.”

Noreen and Tinga will find out if they have won at a ceremony due to be held on 17 July at Staffordshire County Showground in Stafford.
