We are taking part in the Birmingham Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk

As carers, we have seen first-hand the damage that Alzheimer’s Disease causes, both to the individual affected and their families.

This is why we will be taking part in the Birmingham Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk on Saturday 16 September.

Members of our office management team will be taking part in the walk, which offers two routes around Sutton Park, a 3.5 km walk or a longer 7 km route. Carers and clients are more than welcome to join us, you can sign up for the walk here.

No matter the journey, this event will raise money and awareness for an incredible cause with the hope of one day eliminating Alzheimer’s Disease from society completely.

If you want to show your support for us, the walk begins at the Jamboree Stone at 11 am which is located near the centre of Sutton Park.

In addition to the above walk, Nexus Care will also be hosting a Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 29 September. This fantastic event is open to any carers or clients who wish to join us.
