Welcome to the October edition of the Nexus Care Services Newswire
October has been an incredible month for the Nexus team. We celebrated my win as Registered Care Manager of the Year at the West Midlands Care Association Awards, joined Good Hope Hospital for a special luncheon to plan next year’s fundraising appeal and attended the inspiring Care Show Birmingham 2025.
Our Director, Samuel Court, also shared his latest thought piece on advocacy, highlighting the importance of giving a voice to those who need it most.
Meanwhile, World Mental Health Day gave us a moment to reflect on the wellbeing of both our clients and our carers, something we champion every day.
We’ve also continued to innovate with the rollout of PASS, our new digital care system, which is already helping our carers and families stay better connected.
As a friendly reminder, our Refer a Friend Scheme remains open, rewarding those who help us welcome more amazing carers to the Nexus family.
Warmest Regards,
Tinga Umera, Managing Director Nexus Care Services
