Hello and welcome to the June edition of the Nexus Care Services Newswire.

In this month’s issue, you will find out about the exciting events we have been involved in which include our recent trip to London for the Health Investor Awards, in which Nexus was a Finalist as one of the best Domiciliary Care providers of the Year.

Nexus Events were also showcased in front of the Mayor of Sutton Coldfield Tony Briggs, who was really impressed with our initiatives and the outcomes Nexus is achieving in our community outreach projects.

In this month’s edition, we also share an overview of our Nexus Care Matters podcast series where we had special guests in the shape of two of our senior carers who joined us to discuss their views on care matters and their careers in care.

Care In Numbers

Did you know... According to the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing, 24 per cent of people aged 60 or over say they feel lonely sometimes or often – which equates to around three million people across the UK.

One of our key aims as a company is to combat loneliness by providing person-centred care and engaging events.
