Carers Spotlight

This month, we have even more of our wonderful carers to celebrate, following some fantastic feedback from clients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.

A huge well done to Ella, Paul, Julia (once again!), Dawn, Louisha, Gloria, Louise, Caz, Estelle-Pretty, Zara, Monuwara and Isha — each of you has been recognised for the fantastic contribution you make to our clients and to the wider Nexus team.

Paul has received some particularly lovely feedback this month. He consistently goes above and beyond for his clients and has also been recognised by healthcare professionals for his attentiveness, empathy and the genuine care he shows to those he supports. A fantastic reflection of the standards he brings to his work.

Louise & Caz have both been part of the Nexus team for many years and continue to be reliable, kind and caring members of our Tamworth team. They provide their regular clients with consistency, stability and high-quality care, and are a real asset to the team.

A special mention also goes to Estelle-Pretty, Zara & Monuwara, who have been highlighted by our Rota Team for their willingness to help whenever they can. Whether that means picking up additional calls, working outside their usual availability or simply stepping in when needed, they continually show their commitment to supporting both our clients and colleagues. We know lots of our team do this, but these three have particularly stood out this month!

Julia, once again, continues to receive consistently high praise from the clients she supports. It is wonderful to be able to recognise her continued dedication and the positive impact she has on those around her. Well done, Julia — you are a true asset to Nexus, and thank you for everything you do!

Dawn deserves recognition for consistently going above and beyond. She is kind, caring and attentive in her work, always putting the needs of her clients at the heart of what she does.

Isha has been doing a fantastic job supporting a younger client, forming part of a brilliant trio who work closely together to provide consistency, care and support to this young lady. It is lovely to see such a strong team approach.

Ella is another great example of someone who has developed so well within her role. Having never worked in care before joining Nexus, she has excelled and is already receiving lovely feedback from clients, colleagues and the office team. What a fantastic start to her care career!

Louisha, who recently returned to Nexus, has quickly shown just how helpful, reliable and attentive she is. She is meticulous in supporting her clients and has demonstrated a great eye for noticing and reporting any changes in their needs — exactly the kind of attentiveness we value.

Finally, Gloria, from our Lichfield team, has been recognised for always being willing to help and for bringing such a positive, smiley and supportive attitude to her work. A wonderful quality to have and one that is clearly appreciated by those around her.
