We are proud to share that our Managing Director, Tinga, has completed a charity skydive in aid of Good Hope Hospital – and he’s safely back on the ground!
Tinga took the ultimate leap of faith, completing an exhilarating 13,000-foot skydive to raise vital funds in support of the hospital’s work with patients and families across Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding area.
Donations have already reached £340 and are continuing to rise, with all funds going directly towards services and resources at Good Hope Hospital that fall outside standard NHS funding.
Tinga said: “Completing the skydive was an incredible experience and I’m proud to have done it in support of such an important local cause. Standing on the edge looking down at the ground below was certainly nerve-racking, but given the cause, I was happy to make the plunge. Good Hope Hospital plays a vital role in our community, and every donation helps make a real difference. There’s still time to contribute, and I’m grateful for the support so far.”
This latest challenge is a testament to Tinga’s longstanding commitment to charitable causes. He has previously completed a number of endurance events, including the Wolverhampton 10K, hikes in the Peak District, and the Wrekin Challenge — collectively raising thousands of pounds for charities such as Cardiac Risk in the Young, Cancer Research UK, and Race Against Dementia.
As a care provider deeply rooted in the local community, we have a longstanding relationship with Good Hope Hospital, regularly supporting initiatives including fundraising drives and community campaigns. We believe in giving back to the community we serve, and this skydive is just one example of that commitment in action.
And we’re not stopping there. Members of our team are now preparing to take part in the Royal Sutton Fun Run on 31 May, continuing our fundraising efforts for this much-loved local hospital. You can find further details of the run here.
If you’d like to support Tinga’s skydive fundraiser, there is still time to donate via his JustGiving page.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to give back to Sutton Coldfield and the wider community.
