We are incredibly proud to share that Nexus Care Services has been named Royal Sutton Coldfield Small Business of the Year at the SLTC Awards 2026.
Hosted by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, the SLTC Awards are now in their tenth year and celebrate the very best businesses across Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase. We were shortlisted alongside five outstanding local organisations before taking home the top prize on the night.
This award comes at the end of a hugely positive year for Nexus. Over the past twelve months, we have welcomed new carers into our growing team, supported more clients across the region and continued to develop services that help people leave hospital sooner and receive safe, person-centred care in their own homes.
Our Managing Director, Tinga Umera, proudly collected the award and shared his thanks on behalf of the team.

The awards ceremony took place on twelve February 2026 at Statfold Country Park, bringing together businesses from across the region for an evening of celebration, connection and recognition.
