The Managing Director of award-winning home care provider, Nexus Care Services, has taken the ultimate leap of faith by completing a charity skydive in aid of Good Hope Hospital.
Tinga is safely back on the ground, having completed an exhilarating 13,000-foot skydive, raising vital funds to support the hospital’s work with patients and families in Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding area.
The challenge marks another milestone in Tinga’s ongoing commitment to charitable causes, with donations currently reaching £340 and continuing to rise.
All funds raised will go directly towards supporting services and resources at Good Hope Hospital that fall outside standard NHS funding, helping to enhance care for those who need it most.
This latest achievement builds on a strong track record of fundraising by Tinga, who has previously completed endurance events, including the Wolverhampton 10K, hikes in the Peak District and the Wrekin Challenge, collectively raising thousands of pounds for charities including Cardiac Risk in the Young, Cancer Research UK and Race Against Dementia.
Tinga said: “Completing the skydive was an incredible experience and I’m proud to have done it in support of such an important local cause.
“Standing on the edge looking down at the ground below was certainly nerve-racking, but given the cause, I was happy to make the plunge.
“Good Hope Hospital plays a vital role in our community, and every donation helps make a real difference. There’s still time to contribute, and I’m grateful for the support so far.”
As a care provider deeply rooted in the local community, Nexus has a longstanding relationship with Good Hope Hospital, regularly supporting initiatives such as fundraising drives and community campaigns.
The firm is continuing its fundraising efforts, with team members now preparing to take part in the Royal Sutton Fun Run on 31 May, as they raise even more for the beloved local hospital.
Further details of the run can be found here.
Supporters can also still donate to Tinga’s skydive fundraiser via the JustGiving page here.
Nexus would like to thank everyone who has supported the challenge so far and looks forward to continuing its efforts to give back to the local community.
