We are delighted to share that Sharon, our dedicated volunteer for Nexus Events, has been successfully nominated for a Staffordshire Dignity in Care Award.
Sharon plays a central role in making Nexus Events such a success. She has worked tirelessly to support our clients. Her warmth, commitment and care have helped make each event a special experience for everyone involved.
Nexus Events was created to support the wellbeing of our community, helping clients to reconnect, meet new friends and enjoy meaningful days out. Sharon’s work perfectly reflects this mission, ensuring that dignity and care are at the heart of every outing.
The Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards are now in their eleventh year and celebrate those in the county’s independent care sector who consistently go above and beyond to place dignity at the core of their work.
This year’s awards evening will be held on Thursday 17 July at Staffordshire County Showground.
Director Samuel said: “We are incredibly proud of Sharon and her well-deserved nomination. Nexus Events was founded to help combat isolation in our community, and Sharon has been an outstanding ambassador for that goal. Her compassion and commitment are an inspiration to us all.”
