Our carers count – How we are helping them this winter

Winter pressures are not just felt by our clients. We understand that this time of year can be challenging for everyone, including our amazing team of carers.

That is why we are going the extra mile to ensure our staff feel supported, safe, and appreciated during the colder months.

Keeping our carers warm and prepared

As winter takes hold, our dedicated carers are out and about in all weather conditions, ensuring our clients receive the quality care they deserve.

To help them along the way, we have equipped some of our fantastic carers with winter packs.

These thoughtful packs include essentials such as a de-icer, an ice scraper, cosy gloves, and a travel mug, everything they need to stay warm and ready for the day ahead.

“For our carers, the winter months are particularly tough. The roads can be treacherous, the weather unpredictable, and the days long.

“These winter packs are our way of saying thank you and showing our commitment to their wellbeing,” said Director, Samuel.

“Small gestures like this can make a big difference, not just practically but also emotionally. It’s important that our carers feel valued and supported – especially during the colder months.”

Drop in for a treat and a chat

Our staff are also always welcome to pop into the office for a well-deserved break.

Whether it is to grab a sweet treat, fill up your flasks, catch up with colleagues, or simply have a chat, our doors are always open.
