Hello and welcome to the July edition of the Nexus Care Services Newswire.

Where have the last 12 months gone? It only seems like yesterday when we sat down to discuss Nexus Events – a new way of reaching out to the community and helping fight the ongoing battle against loneliness. After its launch and many successful trips out enjoyed by our clients, we have now just held a social afternoon celebrating our one-year anniversary!

This month’s issue goes into more detail about this anniversary, including details of a podcast where Samuel and I go into greater depth about Nexus Events and the impact it has made on the community.

Following on nicely, this month’s issue also takes a look at an upcoming event at Trentham Gardens, which is sure to be a brilliant day out for all involved.

Care In Numbers

Did you know... According to the Alzheimer's Society, there are currently 900,000 people with dementia in the UK and is projected to rise to 1.6 million people by 2040.

Our tailored care plans and support from a regular team of professionals can help manage this awful disease and monitor its progress. This will provide a valuable rest bite for a spouse or relative caring for someone with dementia.
