Carer’s Spotlight – Regan, Emma and Marie

Welcome to our first Carer’s Spotlight of 2025, as we look at the incredible achievements of our dedicated care team.

This year we kick things off with a look at two new recruits and one of our more experienced carers.

Regan

Regan joined the Nexus team just over six weeks ago and has quickly become a valuable asset.

Having transitioned from a care home setting to domiciliary care, she has adapted exceptionally well.

Regan works across all three areas of our supply (Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, and Lichfield), providing outstanding support to the rota team and willingly taking on extra tasks whenever needed.

We’ve received excellent feedback about the quality of her care and her ability to connect with everyone she meets. Well done, Regan! Keep up the amazing work!

Emma

Emma also joined Nexus just over six weeks ago, bringing no prior care experience but an incredible passion for making a difference in people’s lives.

Her attention to detail is remarkable, as seen in her thorough and precise notes that capture every aspect of her clients’ routines, tasks, and needs.

Our clients have shared glowing feedback about Emma’s work, praising her dedication and impact. Thank you, Emma, for all you’ve done—keep up the fantastic work!

Marie

Marie has been part of the Nexus team for over 18 months and continues to be an invaluable member of our team.

She works a mix of mornings and evenings, providing consistent support to her regular clients, who always look forward to seeing her.

Marie’s extensive care experience, knowledge, and skills are a tremendous benefit to our clients, many of whom have expressed how safe and well cared for they feel in her hands.

She also works wonderfully with newer carers, offering guidance and support as they begin their journeys in care.
