Read moreLast month, we proudly shared the news of our partnership with Good Hope Hospital Charity.
As we approach Christmas, we want to remind everyone about this important initiative and highlight how you can join us in spreading some festive cheer.
Our dedicated toy drive for the Good Hope Hospital Charity’s Virtual Gift initiative highlights our commitment to community giving.
Supported by the generosity of our amazing staff, we’re helping provide much-needed gifts and bring joy to patients spending Christmas on the ward.
As we get into the festive spirit, this is just the beginning of an ongoing programme of support for Good Hope Hospital, with an exciting calendar of fundraising activities planned for 2025.
Reflecting on the partnership, Tinga Umera, Managing Director at Nexus Care Services, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be supporting our local hospital and its incredible work with patients at Christmas and beyond.
“Our fantastic team members are no strangers to getting involved with local and national charities, and it’s thanks to this team effort that we’re able to step up our community support in the coming year.
“We understand how challenging it can be for individuals and families when someone isn’t well at Christmas, so we’re all grateful for the opportunity to help in alleviating that for local people.
“The mission of Good Hope Hospital Charity to support tailored care, independence and as many good experiences as possible for all patients resonates with our team. We’re all excited to see where our partnership will lead, and we can’t wait to get stuck into fundraising in 2025!”
Elle Huguet, Assistant Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital Charity, added: “Here at the Charity, we are very excited to be partnering with Nexus Care.
“As a charity dedicated to the patients, their families, and staff at Good Hope Hospital, we know that this will help us to continue providing support during their treatment journey.
“What we fund includes a huge range of projects to help patients, from providing lollipops to take away the taste chemotherapy leaves behind to activities for our older patients and creating child-friendly spaces for our youngest patients.
“Fundraising and donations from local companies like Nexus are crucial in helping us to continue to go ‘over and above’ what the NHS provides as standard for our patients at Good Hope Hospital.”
We encourage everyone in the West Midlands and beyond to support this wonderful cause.
If you would like to help, you can make a Virtual Gift donation through the Good Hope Hospital Charity. Let’s come together to make a difference for local patients this Christmas.
