Carer’s spotlight

We’re thrilled to share the inspiring stories of our team members who continually go above and beyond for our valued clients.

Their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care are at the heart of everything we do.

First, we want to recognise Carron, affectionately known as ‘Caz’ by her colleagues. Caz has been a vital part of our Tamworth & Lichfield team for the past four and a half years.

Recently, she took a photo of one of her regular couple clients, then printed it and framed it for them as a special gift.

It brought tears to both their eyes, as they hadn’t had any recent photos together. This thoughtful gesture is just one example of the extraordinary care Caz provides. Thank you, Caz, for your dedication and hard work.

Next, we would like to highlight Danielle. She has been with Nexus for nearly 18 months, working in the Tamworth & Lichfield area.

On a recent evening visit, one of her regular clients had a fall and was unable to get up. Despite it being 10 PM and late at night, Danielle stayed with the client until the early hours of the morning, waiting for the paramedics.

Although friends and family were nearby, Danielle didn’t leave, ensuring the client was safe, comfortable, and well cared for until help arrived.

Her commitment speaks volumes about her character. Thank you, Danielle, for always going the extra mile.

Lastly, we want to recognise Julia, who has been with Nexus for the past three and a half years.

She consistently goes above and beyond to start her runs at 7 am.

She is incredibly hard-working, covering shifts and weekends and is a favourite among our clients, many of whom she sees weekly.

Julia is known for her reliability, kindness and dedication. Thank you, Julia, for your continued loyalty and excellent service.

We are deeply grateful to Caz, Danielle, and Julia for their exceptional contributions to our team and for making such a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
