Tinga Umera – Unsung Hero

Another award nomination can be safely added to Nexus Care Service’s collection, with the announcement that Managing Director, Tinga Umera, has been shortlisted for the Community Unsung Hero Award at the Multicultural Business and Community Champion (MBCC) awards.

The awards, which were founded in 2016, are a celebration of diversity and are dedicated to shining a spotlight on the unsung heroes whose actions enrich both businesses and those in the wider community.

The Community Unsung Hero award is looking for a person who puts others before their own needs by going the extra mile to selflessly help others, somebody who has stepped in to help time and time again on their own initiative and is modest in their approach.

“Based on the description of the award, it is no surprise that Tinga received a nomination,” said Samuel Court, Director at Nexus Care Services.

“Tinga is constantly putting in the extra yards to help people, he does it all off his own back and never asks for thanks. He is the perfect candidate for this award.”

We will all be rooting for him to pick up the award when the ceremony takes place on Saturday 30^th November.
