Did you know Nexus Care Services started on its remarkable journey in the care sector on 1^st April 2014?

Yes, nearly ten years ago!

John Court, the founder of Nexus Care, established the organisation with a commitment to offering compassionate and personalised care for clients.

From the outset, his clear vision has been the cornerstone of our service, inspiring a culture of empathy, dedication and individualised support that truly sets us apart in the care community.

We transitioned into a limited company on 14^th February 2020, marking a significant milestone in our history, symbolising our growth and the evolving trust placed in us by the communities we care for.

Expanding our reach

As we continue to grow, our commitment to extending our reach and impact has never been stronger.

In 2023, we achieved significant milestones, including but not limited to:

• Supporting more clients: In 2023, we welcomed 147 new clients into our care, conducting 185 assessments to ensure tailored, high-quality support.
• Engagement and communication: Our digital presence flourished, with 1400 reactions on Facebook, while we shared insights and expert advice through 122 minutes of podcasts.
• Team growth: The Nexus team grew by 67 carers, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality care.
• Community contributions: Our team raised £200 for the Alzheimer’s Society in the Birmingham Memory Walk. We also raised £112.42 from our Macmillan Coffee Morning, embodying our spirit of giving back to our communities.

Our journey through 2023 was highlighted by eight prestigious award nominations, which serve as a testament to our team’s passion and excellence in care.

1. We proudly placed in the top ten for the Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards.
2. Monica’s exceptional service earned her the Community Service Dignity Champion Award at the Staffordshire County Council Dignity Care Awards.
3. Tinga was a finalist in the Black Achievers Awards, highlighting his outstanding contributions.
4. Samuel was featured in The Care Show’s Thirty Under Thirty Awards.
5. Tinga was nominated for Innovation in Social Care Leader category at the Social Care Leadership Awards.
6. Our team was a finalist in the Innovation in Home Care category at the Leaders in Care Awards.
