Hearts and heroes: Nexus Care Services’ supplies Valentine’s feast for frontline carers

To show our love to our team, we recently honoured our dedicated carers who worked through the night on Valentine’s Day with a tasty treat.

Understanding the significance of this special occasion for many, the organisation chose to celebrate its workforce’s unwavering commitment and dedication by treating them to a delightful takeaway meal.

The gesture, more than just a token of appreciation, stands as a testament to our deep-seated recognition and appreciation of the hard work and sacrifices made by carers daily.

We acknowledge that working on a night traditionally reserved for celebrating relationships requires a particular kind of selflessness—a quality that its carers possess in abundance.

“Valentine’s Day is a time for showing love and appreciation, and what better way to do that for our team than by ensuring they know how much we value their commitment,” said our Director, Samuel Court.

“Our carers put their heart and soul into their work, making a significant difference in the lives of those they look after.

“Treating them to a takeaway was our way of saying ‘thank you’ for their incredible service, especially on a night when they might otherwise be with their loved ones.”
