Nexus MD enjoys night of celebrations at the Black Achievers Awards

Our very own Tinga Umera found himself in the honoured position of finalist at the prestigious Black Achievers Awards which took place in Nottingham on 28th October.

The awards, which celebrated its 10th anniversary, aims to recognise and promote the achievements of the BME community and to show communities and the wider media that there are real positive black role models out there.

Tinga was nominated for the Health and Social Care Award due to recognition for his significant contribution to the health and social care sector. While he did not win the trophy, to make the final nomination list is a respectable achievement in itself.

“To be nominated for an award that is going from strength to strength and is now in its 10th year is something I am incredibly proud of,” said Tinga. “It’s great that we have been nominated for another award this year and just shows that the hard work we are delivering is being recognised.”

Congratulations to Tinga on achieving this prestigious nomination, we look forward to sharing more success stories with you in our future newswires.
